Quiz Bowl Events Scheduling
TSQBA aims to serve as an informational clearinghouse for all quiz bowl tournaments that take place over the course of the school year in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, as well as in bordering states that may be of interest to area teams and students. To that end, if your team is interested in holding a tournament, whether for the 2023-24 school year, or already for the 2024-25 school year, please contact us as soon as possible, so we can update our schedule accordingly.
While the growth in the number of area tournaments is welcome, this can lead to multiple tournaments taking place on the same weekend, which can lead to smaller field sizes at those events and a less enjoyable experience for tournament organizers and attendees alike. If your school is thinking of hosting a tournament, we strongly urge you to first check the calendar, and also to email us to make sure that another school isn’t also thinking of that same day first. This can avoid misunderstandings and ensure healthy tournament sizes all around.
